200 thousand worshipers perform dinner and Tarawih prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

200 thousand worshipers performed the evening and Tarawih prayers on the night of the twenty-seventh of Ramadan in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, bypassing the occupation’s measures, restrictions and obstacles.

This year, during the month of Ramadan, the Israeli occupation authorities imposed additional restrictions on those arriving to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and those in seclusion set up their Ramadan tents in the corridors of Al-Aqsa, to commemorate the Sunnah of Itikaf during the last ten nights of Ramadan. Those in seclusion were subjected to harassment and arrests by the occupation police, affecting at least 27 secluded people.

The occupation police reinforced its forces in the occupied city of Jerusalem and deployed about 3,000 personnel in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City
