2023 Pan Arab Games: Team Qatar Raise Tally to Six Medals

The Qatari delegation participating in the 2023 Pan Arab Games in Algeria, added a new medal to its tally, with Ashraf Hussein winning the gold medal in the 400-meter race.

With Ashraf’s medal, Qatar raised its tally to six colored medals (three golds, one silver and two bronzes), after Saif Abdel Salam won the gold medal in the pole vault competition, recording (5.51m), Moath Ibrahim won the gold medal in the discus throw competition, recording (62.48m), Omar Dawood won the bronze medal in the 110-meter hurdles race, timing 14.20 seconds, Abdulrahman Abdelqader won the bronze medal in the shot put competition for people with special needs.

Team Qatar begin Thursday their quest for more medal in the volleyball and swimming competitions. Qatar Volleyball team will meet Libya, while Kareem Salama is competing in the final of 200-meter front crawl and Ali Abdullah AL Nuaimi in today’s qualifier, is seeking a spot in the final of the 50-meter front crawl.

Qatar Handball team will meet Algeria counterpart, the host, tomorrow (Friday).
