22nd Arab Radio, TV Festival to Discuss Issues of Media, Production, Content Creation

Riyadh, The scientific program accompanying the 22nd Arab Radio and TV Festival, scheduled to be held between November 9 and 12 in Riyadh, revealed top symposiums and workshops that will be presented by several specialists in audiovisual media fields, cinema and digital content.

The program showed that the first symposium will be opened with a panel discussion about “The future of cinema in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and how to develop this industry locally”, followed by a symposium dubbed “The cinema and women’s issues”, which will shed light on historical phases in the Arab cinema for women’s issues through hosting actors from Egypt, in addition to a symposium titled “Local production issues and top future challenges to develop it” that will go over local production in radio and TV and future transformation.

As for sports, the program dedicated a session titled “Sports media and the making of stars”, and a stand-up comedy journey session in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where the program also includes several workshops that will be presented by several specialists in media and the film industry in the freelance media work and its new opportunities for the content creation through application on documentaries and applied workshops pertaining to the future of freelance in the media field.

The festival agenda also includes an expanded ceremony that will honor several media and art figures that enriched the Arab arena with their audiovisual productions, and will also include an art concert on the first day of the festival.
