28th Meeting of Mining Advisory Committee Kicks off in Rabat with Saudi Participation

Rabat, The three-day 28th meeting of the Mining Advisory Committee is kicked off in Rabat today with the participation of sectors concerned with the mineral resources in several Arab countries.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is represented in this meeting with Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Compliance and Monitoring Eng. Ahmad bin Mohammed Faqih.

The meeting will be discussing several issues related to following up on the implementation of recommendations of the 27th meeting of the committee, reviewing the activity of the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization in the mining sector and its agenda for 2023-2024, providing outcomes and results of the 8th consultative meeting of Arab ministers concerned with the affairs of mineral resources, which was held in Riyadh in January, 2022, in addition to the outcomes and recommendations of the Arab International Conference for Mineral Resources that was held in the United Arab Emirates in February, 2022.
