The Iranian Seismological Center recorded an earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale in the southern province of Khuzestan. According to a statement issued by the center, the tremor occurred at a depth of 14 km, at the confluence of latitude 32.72 degrees north and longitude 48.99 degrees east.
