Interior Minister Mazen Faraya Tuesday asked governors to release 493 administrative detainees, according to a ministry statement. The amnesty came after the inmates' files were reviewed, ensuring their release is not a threat to national security and public order, and to give them space to integrate into society and lead a normal life with their families, the statement said.
