5.1-Magnitude Quake Hits Southwest China

Abu dhabi: A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck southwest China's Sichuan Province, the China Earthquake Networks Centre said: The earthquake struck Longchang City at a depth of 13 kilometres, the centre said. There were no immediate reports of casualties or material damage.

According to Emirates News Agency, the seismic event was recorded with precision by local monitoring systems, ensuring swift dissemination of information to the public and relevant authorities. Emergency services in the region remain on alert, though no significant disruptions have been reported thus far.
