A ” Crucial ” Visit For A Delegation From The Gulf Cup Federation To Kuwait To Assess Its Ability To Host The Tournament Instead Of Iraq

BAGHDAD, The delegation of the inspection committee of the Gulf Cup Football Federation continued to inspect the sports facilities in Kuwait today, Monday, considering that Kuwait is a candidate to host the “Gulf 25” championship, if it is not held in Iraq, early next year 2023.

The Kuwaiti newspaper “Al Jarida” reported: “The delegation headed by the Secretary-General of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation, Jassem Al-Rumaihi, arrived in the country yesterday afternoon, on a second visit, after the first took place last March.”

The newspaper confirmed: “The current visit is very crucial, regarding Kuwait’s ability to host the tournament instead of Iraq, as the delegation will submit a report to the officials of the Arab Gulf Cup Federation.”
