Abdullah bin Zayed and French Economy Minister Discuss Strengthening Economic Ties


Paris: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with ‚¬Å¡¬°ric Lombard, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industry of France, in Paris to explore avenues for joint cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and France. The discussions centered on enhancing collaboration in economic, investment, trade, and industrial sectors, alongside other areas of mutual interest.



According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening strategic relations with France. He emphasized leveraging available opportunities to develop and enhance bilateral cooperation frameworks to ensure the prosperity of both nations. Additionally, he extended his best wishes for France’s continued progress and prosperity.



The meeting was attended by several key figures, including Reem Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Noura Bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs; Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, UAE Ambassador to the French Republic; and Omar Saif Ghobash, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and UAE Non-Resident Ambassador to the Vatican.
