Nicosia: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, convened with Johann Wadephul, the German Minister of Foreign Affairs, during Sheikh Abdullah's working visit to Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. The meeting focused on the repercussions of the unprovoked Iranian missile attacks on the UAE and other regional countries, analyzing their impact on regional security, stability, and international peace.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Abdullah and Johann Wadephul also took the opportunity to review the friendship ties and strategic partnership between the UAE and Germany. Sheikh Abdullah emphasized that the UAE-German relations are steadily growing, driven by a shared vision to enhance stability and progress in development and prosperity. This partnership is seen as a testament to the strong ties between the two nations.
The meeting was also attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State, and Abdulla Balalaa, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability.
