Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in phone conversations with several foreign ministers to address the repercussions of Iran's missile attacks against the UAE and other countries in the region.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions involved Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah of Kuwait, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar of India, and Monday Semaya Kumba of South Sudan. The primary focus was on the challenges these developments pose to regional security and stability, along with their impact on the global economy and energy security.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and the foreign ministers condemned the missile attacks, labeling them a violation of international law and a threat to regional stability. They supported the right of the affected countries to take necessary measures to protect their sovereignty and ensure the safety of their citizens and residents.
During the calls, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah expressed gratitude for the solidarity shown by other nations towards the UAE, reassuring that all residents and visitors in the country remain safe.
