Abdullah Bin Zayed Engages in Diplomatic Outreach Following Iranian Missile Attacks

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a series of phone calls with foreign ministers from several countries to discuss regional developments after Iran's missile attacks on the UAE and other nations in the region.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Abdullah held discussions with key officials, including Hussein al-Sheikh from Palestine, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani from Qatar, Ayman Safadi from Jordan, Antonio Tajani from Italy, Sergey Lavrov from Russia, and others from Kuwait, Bahrain, India, Egypt, Syria, the UK, Spain, Trkiye, Panama, and Germany. The conversations focused on the serious consequences of the regional escalation, the expanding conflict, and Iran's ongoing violations, posing risks to regional and global security and economic stability.

During the calls, Sheikh Abdullah and the ministers condemned Iran's attacks on the UAE and other countries, affirming the right of all targeted states to respond to protect their sovereignty, security, and the safety of their citizens and residents, in line with international law.

The ministers emphasized the need for restraint and stressed the importance of serious dialogue to resolve the crisis, aiming to ensure security, stability, and prosperity for the region's peoples.
