Abdullah bin Zayed Hosts Austrian Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Relations

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, in Abu Dhabi today. The meeting focused on enhancing the bilateral ties between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Austria and exploring ways to further these relations in support of mutual interests.

According to Emirates News Agency, both sides delved into opportunities to expand cooperation in various sectors, including the economy, trade, investment, and energy, within the framework of the UAE-Austria Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah expressed a warm welcome to the Austrian minister and highlighted that the relations between the two nations are well established and advancing steadily. He emphasized that the comprehensive strategic partnership has unlocked promising opportunities for growth and development in bilateral cooperation.

The meeting also included discussions on regional and international issues of mutual interest, along with an exchange of views on current developments. In particular, the two leaders talked about the trilateral talks hosted by the UAE in Abu Dhabi, involving Russia, Ukraine, and the United States, stressing their importance in supporting political solutions and enhancing global security and stability.

The discussion was attended by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade.
