The strategy aims to elevate Abu Dhabi's ranking in the Food Security Index, increase the agricultural sector's GDP contribution significantly, and improve self-sufficiency in essential food commodities.
Key targets of the strategy include reducing irrigation water consumption, expanding the use of technology in farming, and facilitating access to agricultural financing. The plan is supported by flagship programs focusing on infrastructure, production inputs, manufacturing, and logistics, with a strong emphasis on empowering farmers and integrating advanced technologies.
