Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council Showcases Achievements During Emirati Women’s Month

Abu Dhabi:The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council (ADBWC), affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), has showcased significant initiatives during Emirati Women's Month 2026. The month-long event, held from August 28 to September 28, was themed 'Together, We Rise Stronger and Better' and focused on empowering women entrepreneurs and enhancing their role in economic participation and business growth.

According to Emirates News Agency, the program aligned with the vision of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak to translate the recognition of women's achievements into practical opportunities for national development. Throughout the month, the ADBWC organized various events, workshops, and exhibitions to support Emirati women entrepreneurs, fostering connections with government entities, economic institutions, and strategic partners.

One of the key initiatives was 'Under Her Shade,' held on August 28 and 29 in collaboration with Qasr Al Hosn and the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi. This event, attended by H.H. Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, featured panel discussions and an exhibition that showcased the achievements of seven Emirati women entrepreneurs and creatives.

To foster international business cooperation, ADBWC partnered with the General Women's Union and the UAE Embassy in Beijing to host the Chinese Women Business Leaders Networking Forum on September 15. This forum brought together 30 companies from Abu Dhabi and China for direct engagement and knowledge exchange.

In Al Ain, the 'From Her to Her' event was organized on September 23 and 24 in collaboration with Al Ain Museum and ADCCI’s Al Ain branch, featuring entrepreneurial success stories and workshops. The ADBWC also collaborated with ADNOC Distribution for an Emirati Women's Day Bazaar and hosted a networking reception with House of Rituals Café, bringing together women entrepreneurs.

Further, ADBWC partnered with startAD and Curate to organize 'The Emirati Concept' networking session, focusing on the experiences of Emirati female founders.
