ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority has launched the Smart Ambulance Services Systems at GITEX Global 2024 in line with its strategy to deploy advanced technology and innovation to further enhance the safety and protection of the community. The Smart Ambulance Services Systems, implemented by a team of engineers, programmers and analysts specialised in the healthcare sector, allows live medical data transmission, supporting telemedicine by linking paramedics with emergency rooms and doctors. The system also accelerates treatment in emergencies such as burns and strokes, minimises emergency response time, adopts smart triage to prioritise emergencies and ensure readiness of emergency rooms.
