Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship Returns to Brazil on November 17.

Rio de Janeiro: Rio de Janeiro will host the seventh edition of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC) on November 17. The event is expected to draw a large number of top Brazilian athletes, alongside a select group of international fighters.

According to Emirates News Agency, the International Vision Sports Management (IVSM) noted in a statement that the championship will return to Brazil for the second time, following the great success of its first edition held in Balneário Camboriú on March 2.

Given the immense popularity of combat sports, particularly Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and grappling, in Rio de Janeiro, which boasts hundreds of thousands of practitioners, the championship is poised for another successful event.

Tariq Al Bahri, General Manager at IVSM, said that there is close cooperation between the UAE and Brazil to promote Jiu-Jitsu and combat sports in general. He explained that Rio de Janeiro was chosen as a global stronghold for martial arts, while Abu Dhabi is hosting approximately 300 cham
pionships worldwide for Jiu-Jitsu and other combat sports, which serves as a solid guarantee for the event’s success.
