Abu Dhabi to Host World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit 2025.


Abu Dhabi: The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced that Abu Dhabi will host the World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit 2025 on April 8-9. Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor, the summit will focus on the theme “Together Towards Building Global Resilience.”

According to Emirates News Agency, the event aims to enhance global emergency and crisis management readiness, unify international efforts in response to large-scale crises, emergencies, and disasters, and forecast potential risks amidst increasing global threats. Ali Saeed Al Neyadi, Chairman of NCEMA, expressed that the summit would bring the world together, unify strategic international partnerships, and solidify the concept of resilience by anticipating risks and showcasing global best practices.

Al Neyadi highlighted the UAE’s significant role in advancing emergency and crisis management systems, driven by strategic
leadership, skilled personnel, and innovative Emirati models that promote international collaboration and knowledge exchange. He emphasized the importance of active community involvement and the adoption of innovative approaches and technologies to engage community segments in risk mitigation and crisis response.

The summit, with broad international participation, will focus on bridging global capabilities to enhance international cooperation, harnessing global expertise, and promoting integrated capacities for knowledge exchange and resource sharing. It aims to drive development and economic prosperity through proactive planning, technology-driven responses, and effective resource allocation.

In addition to addressing global challenges, the summit will feature the Education Sector Awareness Exhibition, aimed at cultivating a generation well-versed in crisis, emergency, and disaster preparedness. The exhibition will include a variety of activities to enhance public awareness, such as interactive AI-supporte
d activities, advanced technologies, discussion sessions, and workshops.

Moreover, the Crisis Management Technologies Exhibition will be organized to foster cooperation between government and private sectors. It will showcase the latest technologies and solutions in crisis management, serving as a platform for knowledge exchange and raising community awareness about emergency preparedness. The exhibition will also highlight investment opportunities that contribute to sector development and response efficiency.

The summit will attract global speakers and experts to harmonize concepts and approaches to cross-border crisis responses. It will spotlight the UAE’s unique model of crisis management, showcasing its national capacities, institutional cohesion, and strategies for anticipating future risks and addressing global challenges.
