Tripoli: Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity - Minister of Health "Ramadan Abu Janah" issued instructions today, Sunday, to the Ambulance and Emergency Department, and Emergency Medicine and Support Department, to raise the state of emergency in the southern region, transfer serious cases to receive treatment in the city of Tripoli, and provide all necessary assistance to citizens. The media office of the ministry stated that the Minister of Health is closely following the developments of the situation in the city of Sabha, and all areas affected by torrents and floods in the southern region, and issued his instructions to limit the damage, and provide medical and humanitarian services to those affected. The Deputy Prime Minister also issued his instructions to all relevant institutions in the municipalities of the southern region, to form an emergency room, and harness all capabilities from vehicles: water suction, four-wheel drive, and head to the affected areas in the city of Sabha in anticipation of any emergency, in coordination with the relevant authorities, in order to preserve the safety of citizens and their property. The media office explained that this interest comes within the framework of its follow-up of the situation in the city of Sabha due to the heavy rains last night, and the rise in water levels within the city's neighborhoods.
