AD Ports Group and CEI Supply Chain Form Joint Venture to Enhance Logistics in Pakistan

Karachi: AD Ports Group has announced a strategic joint venture with CEI Supply Chain Private Limited to establish a robust logistics network providing door-to-door solutions across Pakistan. The collaboration aims to integrate AD Ports Group's global reach with CEI's local capabilities, enhancing logistics services in key sectors such as automotive, retail, FMCG, and energy throughout the region.

According to Emirates News Agency, the formation of this joint venture was formalized in a signing ceremony attended by key figures including Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, and Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Alremethi, UAE Consul-General in Karachi. The agreement was signed by Abdulaziz Zayed Al Shamsi, Regional CEO of AD Ports Group, and Sohail Yasin Suleman, Group Chairman of World Wide Group. AD Ports Group will hold a 51 percent majority stake in the new entity, reinforcing its strategic presence in the South Asian market and Central Asia corridor.

The joint venture will leverage CEI's extensive operational footprint in Pakistan, which includes offices in Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Islamabad. This partnership is expected to support Noatum Logistics' global network, enhancing market penetration and client access across Pakistan. By Q1 2026, the new joint venture will be consolidated into AD Ports Group.

Abdulaziz Zayed Al Shamsi emphasized the significance of Pakistan as a trade gateway and the potential benefits of offering integrated logistics solutions. Sohail Yasin Suleman highlighted the transformative impact of the partnership on CEI and the wider logistics sector in Pakistan, aiming to elevate logistics service standards through AD Ports Group's expertise.

CEI Supply Chain, established in 1995, is a leading logistics provider in Pakistan, offering comprehensive solutions including freight, transport, customs brokerage, and distribution services across various sectors. This joint venture marks a year of significant expansion for AD Ports Group in Pakistan, following investments in Karachi's port infrastructure and the establishment of a representative office in Islamabad.

AD Ports Group's ongoing developments in Karachi, including a major dredging project and a clean bulk storage facility partnership with Louis Dreyfus Company, underline its commitment to enhancing Pakistan's logistics capabilities and strengthening the Middle Corridor route between China and Europe through Central Asia.
