ADJD and Finland’s Ministry of Justice Discuss Strengthening Judicial Cooperation

Abu Dhabi:Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), recently met with Leena Meri, Finland's Minister of Justice, and her delegation to discuss ways to enhance judicial cooperation and share expertise.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting focused on exploring bilateral partnerships and best practices in innovative judicial services. Discussions included modern approaches to justice-system management and the integration of technology and artificial intelligence to improve litigation efficiency and access to justice.

Al Abri emphasized that the Department, guided by the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is committed to expanding judicial partnerships and leveraging international expertise. This initiative aims to uphold the rule of law and develop a justice system that meets global standards.

He acknowledged Finland's achievements in institutional innovation, legislative modernization, and smart applications, highlighting potential areas for cooperation in digital transformation, judicial knowledge exchange, and technology-based solutions.

Minister Meri commended the advancements in Abu Dhabi's judicial system and its digital transformation. She expressed Finland's interest in deepening cooperation and exchanging practical expertise to support the justice sector.
