Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) is taking part in the 34th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF), hosted at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 26th April to 5th May 2025, under the theme 'Knowledge Illuminates Our Community'. This participation underscores ADJD's ongoing commitment to raising legal awareness and fostering a culture of community engagement.
According to Emirates News Agency, this year's involvement is marked by an integrated pavilion featuring several interactive sections. A prominent feature is a special section dedicated to the latest legal publications, offering visitors insights into current legislative developments and serving as a reliable resource for researchers and individuals interested in legal matters.
The pavilion also aims to support family and community stability by offering direct family and psychological consultations, supervised by experts in social and psychological fields. This initiative promotes a culture of dialogue and family understanding.
Highlighting the efforts of the Family and Child Prosecution, the Judicial Department is actively working to protect children's rights, especially in family dispute situations. Awareness-raising initiatives are being promoted to spread legal knowledge related to childhood and enhance community awareness.
In a humanitarian community initiative, the pavilion showcases artwork and products created by inmates of correctional and rehabilitation centers. This supports rehabilitation and community integration programs, highlighting the inmates' skills and enhancing their future opportunities.
To cater to a diverse audience, the pavilion provides legal services in English for non-Arabic speaking visitors, reinforcing the Department's commitment to offering a comprehensive experience that aligns with the aspirations of different segments of society.
Furthermore, the Abu Dhabi Legal and Community Awareness Centre "Masouliya" presents a variety of awareness programs and initiatives designed to instill knowledge among community members. This contributes to building a sustainable legal culture that supports security and stability.
A dedicated space for children offers simplified educational activities, introducing them to laws in an age-appropriate manner and enriching their understanding of rights and duties in an interactive educational environment.
