ADJD Inducts New Government Notaries at Abu Dhabi Police

Abu dhabi: Five government notaries from Abu Dhabi Police have been officially inducted into their roles after swearing in before Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD). This marks the commencement of their duties as government notaries.

According to Emirates News Agency, the induction of these notaries aims to enhance institutional efficiency and streamline business procedures by integrating notary services with various sectors, adhering to top standards. Al Abri highlighted that empowering national cadres to serve as government notaries aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This vision seeks to bring services closer to the public, boost procedural efficiency, and ensure high levels of accuracy and quality.

Al Abri further noted that the Judicial Department is committed to advancing the government notary system, which is fundamental in safeguarding rights, ensuring transaction integrity, and fostering a competitive business environment. This progress is achieved through the qualification of national talents, implementation of global best practices, and the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence to improve services and simplify procedures.

The newly sworn-in notaries completed an intensive training program at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy. This program ensured their comprehensive understanding of applicable laws and regulations and included hands-on training in modern electronic systems. These systems allow for remote transaction processing with digital flexibility, aligning with Abu Dhabi's smart government initiatives.

The government notary system is designed to facilitate transactions by empowering authorized employees to authenticate official documents at their workplaces. This approach saves time and effort, ensures procedural accuracy, and upholds the rule of law and protection of rights.
