Ajman Department of Tourism Concludes Successful India Roadshow

Ajman: The Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media recently concluded its promotional roadshow in India, targeting key cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad. This initiative was part of a broader effort to enhance Ajman's presence in priority international markets and engage with India's travel and tourism sector.

According to Emirates News Agency, during the roadshow, the Department conducted a series of B2B meetings and destination workshops with travel agents, tour operators, and tourism partners. These events were aimed at showcasing Ajman's tourism offerings and exploring opportunities to create programs tailored to the preferences of Indian travelers visiting the UAE.

As a pivotal component of its strategy to translate partnerships into tangible growth, the Department introduced the 'Ajman Partner' Tourism Growth Incentive Programme. This program is crafted to support travel trade partners, bolster destination promotion, stimulate bookings, and increase visitor flows, thereby expanding Ajman's presence in tourism initiatives targeting the Indian market.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, emphasized the significance of the Indian market within Ajman's strategy to diversify international source markets. He noted that the roadshow provided a valuable opportunity for direct engagement with partners, enabling a deeper understanding of market needs and the identification of new areas for cooperation in developing competitive tourism products.

Alhashmi further elaborated on the 'Ajman Partner' programme, highlighting its role in strengthening the contribution of travel trade partners to Ajman's tourism growth. He expressed confidence that the combination of direct market engagement with performance-based incentives would translate growing destination awareness into increased bookings and sustainable long-term partnerships.

The roadshow is part of the Department's comprehensive strategy to expand Ajman's international tourism reach, enhance distribution and promotional channels, and cultivate long-term relationships with the global travel trade.
