Ajman Real Estate Department Reports 80% Growth, Qualifies 132 Brokers

Ajman: Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, announced significant achievements in Ajman's real estate sector, which align with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman. The emirate has made strides in empowering young Emirati professionals by integrating them into various fields, with a particular focus on real estate.

According to Emirates News Agency, the positive performance in the real estate market reflects Ajman's accelerated development. Real estate offices and brokers played a crucial role in promoting the sector, with sales brokerage values exceeding AED287.5 million in 2024. By the end of 2024, the Department had qualified 132 national real estate brokers, marking an 80% increase compared to 2023.

Al Nuaimi highlighted the Department's aim to produce 1,000 graduates by 2030 through the 'Citizen Broker' initiative. This initiative is vital for enhancing the real estate market's performance by upgrading the brokerage profession, empowering Emirati youth, and developing their skills. It also aims to enhance their understanding of real estate trading laws and procedures, thereby supporting them as entrepreneurs and investors essential for the UAE's future goals.

The Department has implemented various strategies to ensure the success of this initiative, which has received high interest and satisfaction levels, with 91% of participants expressing approval. The initiative has also provided UAE women the opportunity to enter the real estate market, proving their competence and contributing significantly to the sector's growth.

Sheikh Abdulaziz emphasized that the UAE's leadership has created a supportive environment for women, enabling them to become active participants in the country's development. This empowerment encourages women to thrive and succeed in diverse fields, contributing to the nation's overall progress.
