Ajman Ruler Commends International Charity Organisation’s 40-Year Milestone.


Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has lauded the International Charity Organisation (ICO) for its outstanding contributions over the past 40 years, acknowledging its impact on communities both within the UAE and globally.

According to Emirates News Agency, the ICO has implemented projects valued at more than AED 5.3 billion since its inception. These efforts have significantly benefited various communities and have been instrumental in alleviating suffering and enhancing living conditions. Sheikh Humaid expressed his appreciation during a reception at the Emiri Court, attended by prominent figures such as H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council, and other key officials.

Sheikh Humaid emphasized the ICO’s foundational role as one of the UAE’s pioneering philanthropic entities, dedicated to global humanitarian support. He praised the organisation’s consistent commitment to its mission des
pite facing challenges in numerous countries, attributing its successes to the unwavering dedication of its teams and their adherence to noble humanitarian principles.

The gathering also provided an opportunity for the Ajman Ruler and Crown Prince to discuss upcoming ICO projects and initiatives slated for 2025. Sheikh Ammar highlighted the ICO’s significant role within the UAE’s charitable framework and its exceptional contributions to national and international relief campaigns, along with its impactful field efforts.
