(Al-Dabaiba) discusses with (Al-Kabeer) the procedural steps for the results of the consultations on the agreement establishing the International Monetary Fund.

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, “Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba,” discussed with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, “Siddiq al-Kabeer,” the procedural steps for the results of the consultations of Article Four of the Agreement establishing the International Monetary Fund.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated that “Al-Dabaiba” stressed, during the meeting held today at the headquarters of the Central Bank, the need to form a working group from all state institutions to develop an implementation plan for the recommendations contained in the statement of the Article IV consultation mission, the most important of which is setting the features of a clear national economic vision.

In turn, Al-Kabeer confirmed that the meetings held with the International Monetary Fund under the auspices of the Central Bank of Libya, with the participation of the Audit Bureau and the Ministers of Oil, Economy, Labor and Finance last March, after a hiatus of more than ten years, were effective and we reached realistic results to assess the economic situation and the strengths and weaknesses and issue professional recommendations.
