Al-Hawri confirms seriousness of supreme political council warning against any US escalation

The Secretary General of the Supreme Political Council, Dr. Yasser Al-Houry, stressed the seriousness of the Supreme Political Council in its recent warning against any hostile US escalation against the security and stability of Yemen, and that the repercussions of this will not stop at the Yemeni borders.

Al-Hawri explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that this warning came in response to the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed. Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, with the aim of supporting and stabilizing the equation imposed by the Yemeni forces on the ground during the Red Sea battle, confronting the US-British aggression and supporting Palestine in the face of the brutal Zionist aggression on Gaza, supported by America and the West.

He pointed out that if this warning is not taken into account, the response will be strong and surprising, especially as the Yemeni armed forces monitor and follow up on all suspicious preparations and movements by the enemy, which the lea
der of the revolution warned about in his last speech last Thursday.

Dr. Al-Hawri stated that the advice of the head of the Supreme Political Council of the Saudi regime to prioritize the national interest of his country over the American interest comes out of the keenness of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council for peace in the region, especially as there are common understandings to implement all files agreed upon with the Saudi side in accordance with the road map.

“If Saudi Arabia wants peace, it must move forward with the peace path included in the roadmap and agreed to before without delay, or take another step and delay, and work to implement all entitlements, the most important of which is improving the living conditions of the Yemeni people, which have been negatively affected by the war,” he said.

He stated that the concrete practical steps to move the Saudi side from the de-escalation box to the tracks of achieving peace according to the map reached with it will clarify
the extent of the Saudi side’s keenness on peace and preserving its national interests.

The Secretary General of the Political Council pointed out that the American enemy, in the framework of its defense of the Zionist entity, seeks to destabilize security and stability in the region, and push neighboring countries to participate in this. He called on those countries, especially Saudi Arabia, not to be drawn into responding to these demands and to benefit from previous experiences from which Yemen emerged victorious.
