Representative of the Presidential Council, Musa al-Koni, met with Congolese President Doni Sassou Nguesso, head of the high-level committee on Libya, on the sidelines of the BRICS summit that was held during the past two days in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The Presidential Council stated that the meeting dealt with the process of working on national reconciliation, the mechanisms for achieving the stability that Libya needs, and its repercussions for the region and the entire continent.
The Congolese president made it clear to “Al-Koni” that there are arrangements for a close visit by him to Libya within the framework of the role played by the African Union in particular.
