President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, discussed today, Tuesday, with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Libya, Khaled Al-Dosari, the efforts of the United Nations mission to bring views closer between the concerned Libyan parties.
According to the media office of the President of the Council, at the beginning of the meeting, Al-Dosari conveyed to Al-Manfi the greetings of the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, wishing him and the Libyan people progress, prosperity and stability, stressing his continued support for the Presidential Council in all its steps to reach a comprehensive political settlement leading to elections as soon as possible. .
According to the media office, the meeting discussed the efforts of the United Nations mission in Libya and working with the Presidential Council to bring views closer between the concerned Libyan parties, to bring the country to elections, and to emphasize Libya’s unity and sovereignty.
