Tripoli: The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, received, on Monday evening, a written message from the President of the Republic of the Congo, Denis Sassou Nguesso, Chairman of the High-Level Committee on Libyan Affairs.
The media office of the President of the Presidential Council stated that the message was delivered to Al-Manfi Congolese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Francophonie, Jean-Claude Jakoso.
According to the office, the meeting focused on the latest developments in the national reconciliation project, the steps taken in preparation for the comprehensive national reconciliation conference scheduled to be held next April, and the proposals that guarantee the success of this major national event.
During the meeting, Al-Manfi stressed the necessity of completing the national reconciliation file and paying attention to it, considering it a basic nucleus for building the Libyan state, and that its success will pave the way towards the parliamentary and presidential elections
that all Libyans aspire to, according to the media office.
