(Al-Manfi) visits Huawei on the sidelines of his visit to China

Tripoli: The Chairman of the Presidential Council, "Mohammed Al-Manfi", and his accompanying delegation visited the official headquarters of "Huawei" in the People's Republic of China this Wednesday morning. During this visit, which came at the invitation of the President of Global Affairs of Huawei, Al-Manfi toured the wings of this institution and was briefed on its latest technological innovations. According to his media office, Al-Manfi listened to a detailed presentation by the President of Global Affairs of the company about its activity in the world in general and in Libya in particular, as the company's age in Libya exceeded twenty years. Al-Manfi was also briefed on the services that the company contributed to following the disaster of the Derna hurricane and the surrounding areas, and what the company did in terms of a rapid connection of the communications network, in addition to the opportunities available to develop its partnerships with our country in the future in several fields, including d igitizing management, financial transactions, education, renewable energy and communications infrastructure. Al-Manfi pointed out that Libya enjoys a distinguished geographical location, looking forward to being a gateway in the region in the field of communications and information technology and providing technical solutions. According to the media office of the President of the Presidential Council, at the end of the visit, a memorandum of goodwill was signed between Huawei and Libya. It is worth noting that the President of the Presidential Council, "Mohamed Al-Manfi", is currently visiting the Chinese capital, Beijing, in response to an invitation from the Chinese President, "Xi Jinping", to participate in the activities of the China-Africa Summit, Source: Libyan News Agency
