The Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Massawi, discussed on Monday with the directors of standards, metrology, and oil and gas, aspects related to the formation of a joint coordinating committee to monitor fuel and gas stations in the governorate. These measures come within the framework of preparations for the celebration of the Prophet's birthday, intending to control the calibration process at the stations and ensure adherence to the same standards and the real weight deliberately. The meeting assigned the committee to go to the field in the coming days with representatives from the branches of the two companies to edit the seizure reports of violators who will be found to have manipulated the standards for gas and gasoline and refer them to the competent authorities under the supervision and follow-up of the local authority. In the meeting, the Acting Governor of Taiz praised everyone's keenness to work together and control manipulators in the standards of selling gas and gasoline, stressing the need f or concerted efforts to monitor fuel and gas sales stations in the governorate.
