Al-Sayeh and (Di Carlo) discuss the latest developments in the electoral process.

Tripoli: Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, "Imad Al-Sayeh", received the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, "Rosemary Di Carlo", and the Deputy Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, "Stephanie Khoury", and their accompanying delegation, in the presence of the members of the Commission's Council, "Abu Bakr Marda and "Rabab Halab", at the Council's office in Tripoli. According to the official page of the Commission, the meeting discussed the latest developments in the electoral process, and ways for the international community to support the Commission through supporting expertise in the field of election management and implementation. For her part, (Di Carlo) praised the efforts made by the Commission in the stages of the electoral process that were completed for the municipal council elections, stressing the commitment of donor countries to strengthening the democratic path in Libya until the completion of the expe cted electoral entitlements.
