Al-Sayeh meets with the new Representative of the UNDP Libya.

Tripoli: Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, met today with the new Resident Representative of the UNDP Libya, Sophie Kemkhadze, and her accompanying delegation. The meeting, which was held at the HNEC's office in Tripoli, discussed the latest developments in the electoral process and ways of the international community to support the HNEC through supporting expertise in the area of election management and implementation. Kemkhadze commended the Commission's efforts in the stages of the electoral process that have been completed, stressing the commitment of donor countries to strengthening the democratic path in Libya until the completion of the expected electoral entitlements.
