Al-Wakra finished fourth in the Qatari league last season and celebrated a significant triumph by winning the Qatar Cup, defeating Al Rayyan 1-0 in a thrilling final. Looking ahead, the team is gearing up for their participation in the AFC Champions League 2, the newly renamed second-tier Asian club competition.
