According to Emirates News Agency, KKR’s Global Climate Transition Strategy targets investments in climate solutions that prioritize efficiency, security, and decarbonization across various sectors of the physical economy. This encompasses assets crucial to economic activity, including renewables, electrification, energy efficiency, sustainable fuels, and waste management.
The demand for infrastructure in electrification, grid resilience, and industrial decarbonization is rising, driven by increasing energy needs, energy security priorities, and the cost competitiveness of clean technologies. As adoption grows and capital shifts towards climate-aligned assets, there is a clear opportunity to invest in systems that will support resilient, low-carbon economies and facilitate long-term growth.

Since its inception, KKR’s Global Climate Transition Strategy has made seven investments, including companies such as Zenobe in the UK, EGC in Germany, and Avantus in the US. KKR has over 15 years of experience in global infrastructure investment, managing US$100 billion in infrastructure assets, and investing more than US$44 billion in climate and environmental sustainability since 2011.
