Ammar bin Humaid Inaugurates Liwa Ajman Dates and Honey Festival 2025

Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council, inaugurated the Liwa Ajman Dates and Honey Festival 2025, highlighting its significance as a reflection of the enduring legacy of the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The festival is a testament to the vision of strengthening national identity and instilling authentic Emirati heritage and values in future generations.

According to Emirates News Agency, the 10th edition of the festival is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman. Organized by the Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD), the event is being hosted at the Emirates Hospitality Centre from 30th July to 3rd August, drawing participation from across the UAE, the GCC, and the Arab world.

H.H. Sheikh Ammar expressed gratitude for the support of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, in preserving and celebrating the UAE’s cultural heritage. He also acknowledged H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi’s dedication to promoting national identity through activities that uphold the Emirati legacy.

The Crown Prince praised the Ajman Department of Tourism Development for its role in reinforcing the UAE’s cultural values and promoting sustainable development via heritage-driven projects. During the festival, he visited various pavilions and exhibits showcasing dates, honey, and fruits from local and regional producers.

The festival features 61 exhibitors, including farmers, beekeepers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. It aims to raise awareness of Ajman’s cultural legacy and enhance its reputation as a cultural and tourism hub. With participation from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, and Egypt, the event underscores its status as a regional platform for celebrating agricultural and heritage-based production.
