Approval of the financial and administrative reports for the year 2023 of the Palestinian Society for Children’s Culture and Arts


HEBRON – Ma’an – The General Assembly of the Palestinian Society for Children’s Culture and Arts (Palestinian Children’s Arts Center) approved the financial and administrative reports for the year 2023. This came during the meeting held in the Haifa Hall affiliated with the Palestinian Children’s Arts Center in Hebron, in the presence of Rami Al-Jaabari, Director of Public Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, Rashad Abu Hamid, Director of the Palestinian Ministry of Culture Office in the Hebron Governorate, and members of the association’s administrative and general body.

The meeting began with the recitation of Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Palestine. Then, the Executive Director of the Association, Samih Abu Zakia, welcomed the attendees, congratulating the members of the Association on the thirtieth anniversary of the founding of the Palestinian Children’s Arts Center. He reviewed the Association’s activities during 2024 and the projects to be implemented during 2025. He spoke about the diff
icult challenges facing associations in general during this difficult period that the Palestinian people are going through… Treasurer, Mr. Nizar Bali, reviewed the difficult financial situation of the Association in light of the current circumstances… He pointed out the approval of the Administrative Board to update a number of departments in the Center… He thanked the Finance Committee in the Association, which supervises the financial aspect of the Smart Leaders 2024 project.

The Chairperson of the Administrative Board of the Palestinian Association for Children’s Culture and Arts, Nisreen Amro, welcomed the attendees and praised everyone’s role in the steadfastness of this pioneering institution in the field of children’s culture. She extended her greetings to all the Center’s volunteer cadres and participants in its programs.

She praised the executive management of the center and thanked all those responsible for implementing the association’s programs during the difficult period that the institut
ions are experiencing during this year, and thanked the members of the administrative body for their perseverance in serving this institution.

Samih Abu Zakia, Executive Director of the Palestinian Association for Children’s Culture and Arts, praised the friends of the Palestinian Children’s Arts Center, especially Rashad Abu Hamid, Director of the Palestinian Ministry of Culture Office, as well as Rami Al-Jabri, Director of Public Affairs at the Palestinian Ministry of Interior. He also praised the members of the administrative and general body and thanked them for their efforts to serve the children of Palestine in the cultural fields.

He stressed that the center is preparing a plan for the center’s activities during the year 2025, which includes new events and activities, including the 2025 Environmental Conference, environmental schools, and a number of other diverse activities. He announced the formation of the Environmental Committee in the center, headed by environmental work pioneer Osama Al-Jaba, a
nd the membership of Dania Marqa and Lina Al-Tamimi.

For his part, Muhammad Imran Al-Qawasmi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, said that the association continues to give despite these challenges, and this confirms the belonging of every individual who belongs to this association and its goals for the children of Palestine.

The members of the General Assembly confirmed their approval of the financial and administrative reports and stressed their keenness to support the association’s activities and programs, affirming their support and assistance to all workers, volunteers, participants and children in all programs and activities, and confirming their commitment to the association and its programs.

At the end of the meeting, Secretary Aida Abu Aisha announced the center’s new projects, including holding a training workshop for the center’s staff to develop a plan for the center’s projects for the year 2025.
