Arab League condemns attack on UAE Ambassador residence in Khartoum

CAIRO: Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, condemned the attack on the residence of the Head of the UAE Mission in Khartoum. He denounced any targeting of diplomatic buildings and embassy personnel, emphasising adherence to international charters and agreements. In a statement today, he stressed the need for coordinated international and regional efforts to halt the war and bloodshed in Sudan, calling for action to preserve Sudan's unity, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and its institutions.
