Arab League Secretary General Condemns Israeli Occupation’s Massacre in School Housing Displaced Palestinians in Gaza

Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit has denounced in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation forces' attack on a school housing displaced Palestinians in Gaza's Al-Daraj neighborhood, which led to the deaths of over 100 Palestinians and injured dozens more. In a statement today, Aboul Gheit described the Israeli occupation forces' massacre of Palestinians as a "cowardly act," underscoring that killing displaced civilians during dawn prayers is a crime that surpasses even the already deplorable standards of the Israeli army, demonstrating an extreme lack of conscience. He further stated that the ongoing extermination campaign against Palestinians in Gaza effectively grants Israel impunity to continue its killings. He called on the international community to exert genuine pressure on Israel to engage in serious negotiations for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza in exchange for a prisoner swap deal.
