Secretary-General of Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit met today with the president of China Media Group (CMG), Shen Haixiong, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States. During the meeting, they discussed the promising prospects for Arab-Chinese cooperation in the media field and reviewed several issues of mutual interest. The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) within the framework of working to intensify humanitarian and cultural exchanges between the Arab and Chinese sides in preparation for the second China-Arab States Summit in 2026, which is in line with building the China-Arab community with a shared future in the new era through the media, and it also comes within the framework of the Arab-Chinese Digital Library Initiative.
