Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit has received at the league's headquarters in Cairo President of the Arab Tourism Organization (ATO) and member of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action Dr. Bandar bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid who gave an overview of the organization's activities in various Arab countries, including conferences and workshops, carried out in order to boost regional tourism. Aboul Gheit commended the significant contributions ATO brought to Arab tourism, including its participation in Arab summits. He highlighted the recent decisions, taken at the 33rd Arab Summit held in Bahrain, which aim to bolster the tourism industry and promote the diverse Arab tourist destinations, an initiative officially adopted by ATO.
