Arab Parliament Condemns Escalation of Israeli Military Operations in West Bank

The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the dangerous military escalation undertaken by the Israeli occupation through its criminal military operations in the West Bank cities, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens, as well as the destruction of infrastructure. In a statement Wednesday, the parliament stated that the military escalation by the occupation and its settlers in the West Bank, in parallel with the genocidal war on Gaza and violations against sanctities in Jerusalem, constitutes an aggressive act and blatant challenge to international legitimacy resolutions, international law, and international humanitarian law. The parliament added that this escalation fuels conflict and exacerbates tension in the region, holding the occupation entity fully accountable. The parliament called on the international community and the United Nations to exert pressure on the occupation to halt all forms of aggression and escalation. It stressed the necessity of providing an effective international prote ction system for the Palestinian people and their assets and compelling the Israeli occupation to an immediate and permanent ceasefire.
