ARADO Convenes Second Arab Forum to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals

The Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) has announced that it will host the Second Arab Forum to enhance transparency and good governance under the theme “Integrity: An Essential Ingredient in the Era of Complexity and Opportunities” and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. The event, scheduled for September 10-12 in Baghdad, is being held in cooperation with Transparency International EU and Iraq’s Federal Commission of Integrity.

ARADO stated that the forum aims to chart a unified roadmap for promoting integrity and transparency and to reinforce the political agenda for combating corruption in the region. The forum also seeks to build pathways for collaboration between governments, media, civil society, and the private sector while identifying strengths and weaknesses to develop a participatory action plan for enhancing integrity and transparency efforts. The objective is to produce recommendations for cooperative and substantive measures to build robust and agile methodologi
es to fight corruption and to facilitate the establishment of a platform for exchanging ideas, dialogue, and cooperation among all stakeholders.

The forum will feature a distinguished lineup of officials and experts from various international and regional organizations focused on development, anti-corruption, and oversight, as well as researchers from across the Arab world with a keen interest in the field of anti-corruption.
