Tripoli: patrols of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency, Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar Branch, arrested a number of migrant workers who entered the country illegally and were in possession of a quantity of drugs and hashish. The communication office of the agency stated that its patrols are monitored during periodic inspections of illegal migrants and suspicious movements of a number of people. They were followed and arrested, and they were found in possession of a quantity of drugs. The Investigation Unit stated that the accused and the seized items were referred to the Central Investigation Unit of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Agency.
