Chairman of Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), Nayef Fayez, and Bangladeshi Ambassador to Jordan, Nahida Subhan, on Tuesday discussed aspects of joint cooperation and ways to enhance the bilateral relations. During the meeting, Fayez stressed the "deep-rooted" bilateral relations and the importance of building on them to serve common interests. Fayez also pointed out the ASEZA's keenness to follow up and organize the affairs of Bangladeshi workers in the Aqaba special zone and ensure a safe work environment for Bangladeshi expats within the instructions regulating foreign workforce in the Aqaba special zone. For her part, the envoy praised the ASEZA's development and its "safe and competitive" investment environment in several fields, stressing the importance of enhancing joint cooperation in various areas.
