The land patrols of the Border Guards in the Dhahran Al-Janub sector of the Asir region have apprehended five Ethiopian nationals for attempting to smuggle 46 kilograms of hashish in violation of the Border Security Law. The necessary preliminary procedures were completed, and the seized substances were handed over to the competent authorities. Security authorities appeal to both citizens and residents in Saudi Arabia to promptly report any suspicious activities related to drug smuggling or trafficking. Informants can report such activities by dialing 911 from Makkah, Riyadh, or the Eastern Region, or 999 from other locations within the Kingdom. Alternatively, they can contact the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) by calling 995 or sending an email to [email protected].
