Beautyworld Middle East 2024 highlights innovations in sustainable packaging


DUBAI: Beautyworld Middle East 2024, held from 28th to 30th October at Dubai World Trade Centre, showcased advanced packaging solutions in hair, beauty, and fragrance.

Prestigepack, a dedicated space within the exhibition, featured over 30 global exhibitors, including Germany’s Heinz Glas GmbH, France’s Eurotextile, and UAE-based Isem Bramucci Middle East.

Designed for attendees to engage with top-tier packaging solutions, this space highlighted innovation, creativity, and quality in packaging for the beauty sector.

Kapil Rathi, Country Director of Haldyn Heinz Fine Glass, noted, “Beautyworld Middle East is crucial for us in attracting customers globally. This event builds our brand and provides valuable leads, as many visitors here don’t attend other exhibitions.”

New exhibitors for 2024 included Spain’s Ceramicas and France’s Inessens, found in the prestigepack section, alongside returning brands like France’s Aptar Beauty and India’s Pragati Glass. Italy’s Pink Frogs Cosmetics, specialising in third-pa
rty cosmetics production, joined the show for the first time.

Show Manager Ravi Ramchandani explained, ‘Beautyworld Middle East offers manufacturers and brands an integrated supply chain showcase, covering raw materials, private labels, packaging, and manufacturing solutions.’ This year, sustainability is a primary focus, reflecting consumer demand for eco-friendly and certified sustainable packaging.

According to Euromonitor’s 2023 Lifestyle Survey, 42.6 percent of global respondents seek sustainable packaging, particularly refillable and recyclable options. A PwC survey indicated that in the region, 71 percent purchase items with eco-friendly packaging, with 74 percent checking for sustainability certifications. Beautyworld Middle East exhibitors have embraced these trends, integrating sustainability into over 1,900 displays.
