The United States of America confirmed that it will remain committed to supporting Libya’s efforts to build a more sustainable energy future, including the new Go Green initiative, which will help diversify the country’s energy sources.
This was stated by the Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Libya, “Jeromy Berndt”, after he was received by the Minister of Planning, “Mohammed Al-Zaidani” in the capital, Tripoli, yesterday, Monday.
“Berndt” said, according to what was published by the embassy via its account on the “X” website ((During the meeting, we held a discussion that he described as fruitful about technical cooperation and renewable energy in Libya)).
The meeting was attended, according to “Berndt”, by a delegation of budget and technical assistance experts from the White House, the US State Department, and the US Agency for International Development.
